Guest House
Part of the exquisite Marghiloman Complex, the Guest House was brought back to life in the spring of 2024, through an extensive restoration process that has restored it to its former charm and elegance. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Albatros Villa, the building was originally intended to host important visitors to the estate - historical figures such as King Ferdinand, Queen Maria, Carol II, Nicolae Iorga, Take Ionescu, Lascăr Catargiu or General Lahovari.
After a long period of neglect, the Casa de Oaspeți is reborn today as a refined space, restored in its original form by the Buzău City Hall. It will soon function as a boutique hotel, offering guests an authentic experience in the heart of a place full of history. Visitors will be able to relax in the house café, where the tradition will be revived marghilomanului - the coffee with vinasse so beloved of the host of yesteryear. A tribute to refinement, history and the art of conversation.
